Technologies

I’m developing websites more than 5 years and I created more than 150 web-projects. I love the web and my most important decision, that I'll be staying up to date in new web standards and directions. I tried some program languages and databases, but most of all I am a PHP and MySQL developer with advanced site building.

Program languages and packages:

  • PHP (7 years - Certification is pending) with Pear and Smarty
  • (X)HTML (7 years), CSS 1,2 (7 years)
  • JavaScript (7 years), DHTML (3 years), AJAX (1 year), XML (1 year)
  • ASP (one year)
  • Only for testing: Visual Basic and C#

Databases:

  • MySQL (7 years)
  • MSSQL (one year)
  • Only for testing: IBM DB2 (Certificated), Microsoft SQL, Oracle

Webservers:

  • Apache 2 with DNS controlling, Windows Server 2000

Others:

  • Google maps API
  • Photoshop, MS and Open Office, etc...

Work methods:

  • Developing on web standards (HTML transational, XHTML, CSS 1,2)
  • Cross-browser site building
  • SEO-friendly xhtml coding with good web typography
  • Object-oriented programming
  • Modulare, multilanguage programming with my basic framework and i18n localizations
  • Template-based MVC (Model-Viewer-Controller) developing

CMS:

  • SilverStripe, Textpattern, Mambo
  • Spaw, Innova Studio WYSIWYG editors and a tiny TinyMCE

Hot technologies (What I’m learning and testing at this time?)

  • Becoming a Zend Certificated Engineer (ZCE)
  • PHP frameworks: Zend, Symfony
  • JavaScript frameworks: JQuery
